Incheol Choi Incheol Choi is professor in the Department of Psychology at Seoul National University and director of the Center for Happiness Studies at Seoul National University. He received his PhD in social psychology at the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor.

Xyle Ku Xyle Ku is a seventh-semester doctoral student specializing in Social Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Seoul National University. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the Korea Military Academy and later obtained a master's degree from Seoul National University. His research interests encompass a wide range of fields, including social psychology and military psychology. Currently, his research is centered on investigating the relationships between beliefs and well-being, exploring the connection between happiness and mortality, and examining how leader identity influences behavior.

Taegyung Gahng Taegyung Gahng is a doctoral candidate in Social Psychology at Seoul National University and works as a research fellow at the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice. Holding bachelor's and master's degrees in both psychology and law, he further earned a doctoral degree in legal philosophy from the same institution. His research spans various domains, with a particular focus on social and legal psychology. Presently, he delves into the examination of how lay individuals perceive concepts like rights, fairness, and duties.

Eehjoon Kwon Eehjoon Kwon is a first-year M.A. student in Professor Choi’s lab, specializing in career choice, workplace happiness, and prosociality. After completing her B.A. in Economics at Harvard, she began her career as a strategy consultant. When the role didn’t ignite her passion, she embarked on a journey of exploration, taking on diverse roles as a project manager, barista, instructor, and career coach. Each experience deepened her understanding of what it means to find fulfillment at work. Now, through her research, she hopes to uncover insights that empower others to create meaningful and satisfying career paths.

Joo Yong Kim Joo Yong Kim is a first-year graduate student in Social Psychology at Seoul National University (SNU). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management, both from SNU. Her research focuses on the socioecological environment's influence on human well-being and residential mobility. Passionate about applying psychological insights to enhance living and working conditions worldwide, she is particularly dedicated to supporting underrepresented and overlooked communities. Joo Yong also explores topics such as facilitation, cultural differences, and human-centered design, aiming to provide meaningful contributions to these fields.

Yoonjin Lee Yoonjin Lee is a first-semester master’s student in Social Psychology at Seoul National University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Linguistics. Before starting her graduate studies, Yoonjin gained marketing experience at LG Household & Health Care and Estee Lauder Companies Korea. Her research focuses on improving the well-being of elderly and retired individuals, and she aims to provide insights that enhance their quality of life and overall happiness.

Chaelynn Baek Chaelynn Baek is a second-year graduate student who recieved her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Yonsei University. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Psychology at Seoul University. Chaelynn possesses a profound passion for exploring moral decision-making and happiness in general. She believes that the field of psychology holds the key to making the world a better place for everyone. Through her research in psychology, Chaelynn aspires to contribute valuable insights that can lead the world towards a brighter and more livable future.

Chaewoo Lim Chaewoo Lim is a second-year graduate student in Social Psychology. He received a BS in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Sungkyunkwan university in 2023. He has a general interest in various subjects within social psychology, but especially in people's attitudes towards their present experiences.

Soeun (Sarah) Lee Soeun (Sarah) Lee is a third-semester graduate student in Social Psychology at Seoul National University. She received a BS in Social/Personality Psychology with a minor in Global Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is broadly interested in the ability of subjective mindsets – how changes in mindsets and beliefs can alter our achievement and well-being. Her experience of serving in the U.S. Army has strengthened her curiosity about the influence of mindsets on our physical, psychological, and behavioral performances especially in stressful situations.
